Osteo for Families and Telehealth / Online Consultations Now Available
Welcome to Osteo for Families,
You are reading this as you have recently booked an online ‘telehealth’ consult with one of our amazing Osteopaths or are looking for more information about our Online Consultations.
Telehealth is very different from your usual Osteopathic experience. There is no getting undressed and having an Osteopath poke and prod you before they commence treatment. But we will:
Still take a thorough history
Still complete a thorough assessment over the secure video link (either Cliniko or Zoom conference call)
Still provide you exercises BUT we will also use the exercises to form part of your treatment.
So be ready to move and if possible grab your spiky ball, hand weights or resistance bands if you have them; if not don’t stress!!!
Like a normal Osteopathic consult, when you finish your Telehealth consultation your Osteopath will leave you feeling confident about your diagnosis, and our plan to help you become pain free ASAP.
To continue with the next step of treatment, here is all the legal jargon we need you to understand and consent to!
CLINIC PRICING
Initial Telehealth consult (up to 1 hr) : $80
Return Telehealth consult (up to 30 mins) : $60
Please note as of 02/04/2020 private insurance companies are not offering any rebates this is the fee you are out of pocket.
Payment can be made by bank transfer at the end of your consultation or via Cliniko when you book online.
PRIVACY NOTE
Osteo for Families adheres to the National Privacy Principles (www.privacy.gov.au). If you have any concerns, or wish to restrict access to personal health information please discuss with your Osteopath.
Personal and health information may be collected, used and disclosed for communicating to relevant practitioners at Osteo for Families, for follow up reminders, notices and notifications relating to Osteo for Families. As required by law for National or state registers or disease notifications or legal related disclosures. Medicare and Health insurance as per your agreement with them. Or for deidentified research purposes.
We use Zoom video conferencing and or Cliniko Teleheath software which are both encrypted and up to date with the Australian Privacy Principles. All consultations are recorded with your permission and then stored on your file. You are welcome to request these videos to be sent to you or you can let us know that you do not want to be recorded. The choice is yours.

You consent to Osteo for Families sending you reminders about your next appointment via SMS and email.
We don’t send out regular newsletters or promotional materiel but on occasions we do like to inform you what is happening in the clinic: You give us permission to do so
At times we may promote a new stock item or discounts on treatments so you agree to us sending you this promotional material
